Size

Our toy poodles are all registered with the AKC as "Toy Poodles". However, as a breeder; to help describe a size more accurately we will state them as being: Toy, Tiny Toy or Teacup

A Standard Poodle is anything above 15 inches at the highest point of their shoulder.

A Miniature Poodle is anywhere between 10 and 15 inches high at the highest point of their shoulder.

A Toy Poodle is 10 inches or under at the highest point of their shoulder.

We classify a Toy Poodle as being above 6 pounds.

We classify a Tiny Toy Poodle as being anything between 4 and 6 pounds.

We classify a Teacup Poodle as being anything under 4 pounds.

We hope you have found this info helpful.

We will make arrangements with you ahead of time for getting your puppy to you.  However, if for any reason the plans have to be changed to a later date; we will charge a fee of $5 a day for boarding.  This fee must be paid for in full before puppy will be allowed to leave.  If left delinquent, no refunds and puppy will be posted available once again.

Maintenance

Poodles are high maintenance dogs.  They require regular grooming at every 6 to 8 weeks.  They have a hypoallergenic coat which grows out rather than shedding.  They are great for people with allergies!

They also have hair that grows inside their ear canal.  This has to be removed periodically so air can reach the ear.  If not cared for properly, an infection may manifest.

Our Guarantee

We have your puppy checked over thoroughly by our licensed veterinarian  just before it is time for you to pick her up or have her transported to you.  We guarantee health for 72 hours.  You will be responsible in getting your puppy to your vet for a check up when you get home (make your appointment ahead of time!).  If everyone is in agreement on the health and soundness of the puppy at that time, Denbe's Poodles will no longer take responsibility for any illnesses that occur to your puppy that are not genetically caused.    If the vet finds a problem with the new puppy (within the 72 hours), we will then ask for  the puppy to be delivered to us at the buyers expense.  A replacement pup, when available  will then be offered (delivery is at the buyers expense).   At this time we will retake ownership of the puppy that your vet has not found sound (with proof from a licensed veterinarian).  With all of the precautions we take in breeding to better the breed, we do NOT  anticipate any problems.  However, there are unexplained accidents  that can come about with any breeder.    We do ask that you please keep us informed of your puppy's health  (in good or in bad) so we know when we need to make changes in our program. Under NO circumstances  will we be responsible for any injuries to the puppy after it leaves our home.  We will not pay for any veterinary bills at any time.

If within one year of the puppy's life a licensed veterinarian diagnoses your puppy with a life threatening disease, we will replace your puppy with one of equal value upon availability.  We will not be responsible for any vet bills under any circumstances.  We require that you notify us of any congenital problems!

Although we take precautions by worming and vaccinating all of our dogs, we do not cover parasites or protozoa's.  Because of all the changes a puppy goes through in changing environments they can often stress out.  This is common (especially from long drives or a flight) and we warn everyone about this.  We will not consider these sort of issues for refunds or replacement puppies.

Any and all problems found must be proven and diagnosed through a licensed vet and  a second opinion may be required.

If you have questions about specifics, please contact us.  We look forward to hearing from you!
